Doctor Oz is really concerned about the fact that Artificial Sweeteners are harming the Health of Average Americans. On Friday’s Episode of The Dr. Oz Show he displayed with the help of Audience Members that consuming Artificial Sweeteners affects the way we eat Food in General.
Dr. Oz says that by reducing your Sweet Tooth it could help you but if it’s increasing your Sweet Tooth it could be actually hurting you! The Good Doctor had 2 versions of a working model which mimicked a Human Belly. One stood for you consuming natural food like Raspberries and another eating Artificial Sweeteners.
In case we eat regular Sugar, the body starts getting bigger – that’s what naturally happens. If you have too much Sugar you get even bigger. But the good thing is that you are getting feedback all the time. Your taste-buds are enjoying Sugar. The Sweet Tooth is satisfied and you feel full. You put on a bit of Weight but there is a control process on.
Now take some Artificial Sweetener and Sprinkle it on Berries. Muffins, Energy Bars – anything that is not supposed to be Low Calorie but is, the folks with no morals – they did it to them. Says Dr. Oz, they added Artificial Sweeteners, to get you Hooked and make a Quick Buck.
These health destroying Chemicals have several hundred times more impact on your taste-buds, compared to Natural Sugar! They’ll make you Bloat like a Balloon and harm your Heart. This fact is backed by recent Studies. What’s really disturbing is that an Average American consumes nearly 30 Packets per day!!
You’ll consume more food but never feel satisfied! In a recent study – Mice were given a choice between Real and Artificial Sweet Foods. No wonder, they chose Real Sugar – even though the Artificial Stuff tasted better! Looks like the Mice are Smarter than an Average American!

This results in a feeling of satisfaction and after a while we stop eating. Dr. Oz is of the firm opinion that Artificial Sweeteners do not deliver on their Promise of Weightloss. Limit your intake to 1 or 2 Packets a day, if you can’t Live without them.
